Join artist Daniel Hawkins on a bus trip to the Mojave Desert to experience a sunset viewing of his permanent Land Art installation Desert Lighthouse (2017 – Present). Participants will be driven to the Desert Lighthouse to explore the site during sunset and enjoy a meal hosted by members of the local community before returning to Los Angeles. This is the second in a series of field trip excursions to Desert Lighthouse.
The buses will depart at 11AM and are expected to return by 7PM. Ticket price includes a seat on the bus, water, and a meal. Advance registration is required.
